For the Love of Beer!

Hey there!

My name is Sydney, and I am a huge fan of beer. Like seriously, I love beer. I'm the person who asks their friends if they'd like to go try out the new brewery in town on a Tuesday afternoon. And living in Bellingham, which is beginning the transition toward beer-heaven, the makes my obsession much more real.
I'm a marketing student at Western Washington University, with a heavy interest in consumer behavior and pricing strategies. I'm also a published author, hooray! I specialize in creative writing, and I love a good story. I think that's what attracted me to marketing in the first place- a company without a story and a personality is hardly a company at all.
I've worked at McKay's Taphouse here in Bellingham for about six months now, working as the marketing consultant and social media coordinator. I love the excuse to sample flights at the bar, and what's even better is having the opportunity to bring people together over a drink.
And so here I am, combining two of my passions into what I hope is a fun to read and interesting guide into the wonderful world that is Washington craft breweries.
